Wet and Dry Excavation Services

Coastal Amphibious Services, Inc. located in Lockport, Louisiana provides both wet and dry excavation services to many clients. We currently have for hire with our operator, two Link Belt 3400 Q Long Reach ( 60 foot ) Marsh Buggy Excavators. Our pontoon foundation is 35' in length by 20.5 " wide, allowing for a stable and safe operation platform. Services range from building levees to digging and back-filling pipe ditches, tie ins, etc. We additionally have a Link Belt 240 LX-LF ( 60 foot ) Long Reach Land crawler.

All three machines are plumbed for the hydraulically operated Slashbuster 422. This shredding attachment replaces the digging bucket and is used to grind and shred trees and undergrowth for right of ways for pipelines, utilities and many other clearing projects. Coastal also has an 8' wide by 16' long personnel marsh buggy ideal for survey crews, mobilizing small crews into the field and other marsh uses. Coastal has two air boats, equipped with Chevrolet 454 engines. There are many uses here including ingress and egress from marsh and swamp areas. Surveyors, pipeline crews, private land owner inspections.

Additionally, we have three aluminum pull pontoon skids. 10' wide X 32" high X 26' in length. These pontoons are idea for moving equipment such as welding machine, compressors, and other equipment into and out of marsh and swamp environments.
