Perry Slingsby Systems (PSS) has secured a contract to supply two new generation Triton® XLX ROV systems and one Triton® XLS ROV system to specialist marine contracting services firm Canyon Offshore Inc.
The agreement will see PSS deliver two of the 3,000m systems this summer with the final system delivered before the end of the year.
Each TXLX system features the ICETM control system (Integrated Controls Engine) and a standard suite of survey and advanced tooling interfaces. ICETM is the latest generation of subsea control system that provides an intuitive front end user interface with unparalleled system level diagnostics.
Canyon Offshore, part of the Helix Group, and PSS have benefited from a long partnership together. This latest order brings the total number of TXLS/TXLX systems contracted by the company to 20. This latest contract is the first delivery of the new generation TXLX system to Canyon.
