Hercules Offshore announces appointment of Rick McClaine

Houston, TX ... Hercules Offshore has announced that Rick McClaine has joined the company as Vice President - Health, Safety and Environmental.

Rick has over 25 years of experience in operations, safety, training and environmental affairs in the offshore drilling industry, primarily with GlobalSantaFe. Most recently, he worked with Syntex Management Systems, a provider of Enterprise Risk Management software. During his long career, Rick has developed a track record for delivering measurable improvements in the areas of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance.

Rick's responsibilities at Hercules Offshore will include establishing safety "standards of excellence", ensuring compliance with HSE processes and systems throughout the company, and to further develop Hercules Offshore's safety culture by standardizing and improving safety and training programs on a global basis.
