Houston, TX ... Acteon launched its newest company, InterMoor do Brasil, Acteon Vice President - Foundations Bernhard Bruggaier announced.
InterMoor do Brasil, with offices in Rio de Janeiro, will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Acteon. InterMoor do Brasil will offer specialized mooring and rig relocation services. The company provides back-of-the-boat services, including subsea installations, manifold installation work and presetting of drilling conductors.
InterMoor do Brasil, although an independent Brazilian company, is affiliated with Houston-based InterMoor and will utilize the resources from both InterMoor’s Houston and Amelia offices.
“With the increase in offshore exploration and production in the region, we wanted to capitalize on this activity and expand the business into Brazil,” said Bruggaier.
