Houston, TX ... INTEQ and Knowledge Systems are pleased to introduce the BEACONSM Remote Pressure Management (RPM) service. Based on while-drilling analysis of wellbore pressure and stability factors, the BEACON RPM service is designed to help operators reduce costs, lower non-productive time (NPT) and optimize casing programs.
Downhole drilling and evaluation measurements are transferred from the well via the RigLinkSM real-time data distribution system to the BEACON Expert Center for while-drilling analysis by INTEQ’s data monitoring and data management engineers and Knowledge Systems’ dedicated pressure management engineers. The BEACON RPM service may be combined with INTEQ’s full line of LWD tools, including the TesTrak™ service for real-time formation pressure and mobility data while drilling.
“Our engineers manage the real-time data stream, update predictive models and interpret the formation pressure scenarios for a detailed understanding of the downhole pressure environment,” explained Tim Campbell, INTEQ Manager of Surface Logging for the Gulf Coast Area. “This expert analysis is made available to the operator staff to meet their drilling goals.”
“The BEACON RPM resources are available under three tiers of service to provide a flexible approach to the operator’s wellbore pressure management needs,” said Bob MacDonald, INTEQ Vice President of Operations, North America. “Each service level includes the services of dedicated pressure management engineers and the use of Knowledge Systems’ Drillworks® Predict application, which allows engineers to reliably forecast pore pressures to improve performance and avoid problems at all stages of the drilling cycle.”
