Baker named general manager for Applied Electronic Systems

Lafayette, LA ... Robert Baker has been named general manager for Applied Electronic Systems (AES), a Sondex company. As general manager, Baker will be responsible for product manufacturing, sales, tech support and service for Sondex’s Wireline and Drilling products throughout the Lafayette region.

Baker has more than 31 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, most recently as product support manager for Scientific Drilling in Houston. He has also held a variety of key management positions ranging from coordinator of offshore wireline operations to product development, training and global technology support.
