INTEC Engineering appoints CFO

Houston, TX ... INTEC Engineering has announced the appointment of Marc Mellema to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mellema brings expertise from his career as an international tax lawyer with four big accountancy firms in Europe and a specialty in multinational companies in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. His most recent position prior to INTEC was Manager of Taxation for Heerema Marine Contractors supporting their worldwide operations.

Mellema’s finance background includes study at the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and multidisciplinary experience in various global management positions.

“Marc’s depth of experience and know-how with respect to international financial and fiscal structures will be a big contribution to INTEC’s growing international business and will help capture operating synergies within the Heerema Group,” said Bruce Crager, INTEC CEO.

Marc and his wife Marjolein Mellema have three children and have relocated to Houston where Marc will serve in the company’s headquarters.
