Paradigm™ releases new version of Geolog well software

San Antonio, TX ... Paradigm^TM, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production (E&P) industry, announced today the release of Paradigm Geolog^® Version 6.7 at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Annual Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas. The latest edition of Paradigm's petrophysical analysis, well data management and geological interpretation software is now available for worldwide customer licensing. The solution is designed to have a significant impact on E&P activities in both formation evaluation and geosteering projects.

Paradigm Geolog Version 6.7 provides advanced petrophysical analysis tools, presentation graphics, data integration and flexible modularity in an easy-to-use environment. The solution focuses on four areas of new development: support for the generalist and geologist, improved usability through newly designed user interface and workflows, creation of the foundation elements for 3D petrophysics and development of additional tools and analysis techniques.

Paradigm Geolog Version 6.7 incorporates enhanced productivity and usability features, including a new module combiner that enables users to more easily build, execute, record and play back workflows. The software strengthens Paradigm Geolog's multilog analysis and rapid quality control (QC) capabilities with multiple cross-plot and histogram views and composite coherency plots and spidergrams, which are ideal for development fieldwork. Additionally, Paradigm Geolog Version 6.7 extends the current popular geosteering solution with 3D model support and a refresh capability, allowing the drilling engineer to evaluate the impact of real-time updates on the 3D model.
