Industry News - Internet Inquirer - BP may spend $5 billion more in SakhalinBP may spend $5 billion more in Sakhalin

BP has been asked by Russian partner Rosneft to spend up to an additional $5 billion in the next 10 years on development of the Sakhalin V region in the Russian Far East. BP already has committed to spend $200 million to $300 million on exploration costs. Eventual price tag for Sakhalin V development ranges from $2.5 billion to $5 billion.
