Trico Marine Services, Inc. has announced that based on a preliminary inspection of its vessels based in the Gulf of Mexico, all vessels have been located and none have sustained any significant damage from the impact of Hurricane Rita. Some vessels, which are located at storm affected ports in Louisiana, are currently unable to return to their designated operational ports until the Harbor Police open the waterways again. All actively marketed vessels based in the Gulf of Mexico are under contract and should be able to return to service shortly.

The Company's headquarters in Houston, Texas was not damaged from Hurricane Rita and is fully operational. However, the Company's office in Houma suffered minor flood damage. We expect the situation in Houma to be remedied and to resume operational activities in Houma later this week.
