Carrizo Oil & Gas updates operations after Hurricanes

Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc. announced that it experienced moderate disruption to its third quarter production due to wells shut-in from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. As of Friday, September 30, 2005, all such wells have been put back on line to sales. Accordingly, we estimate that the impact from the hurricanes on our third quarter average daily production was a reduction of approximately 2.0 MMcfe per day.
