Underpinning the Future: Discovery, Development, Recovery
This year’s theme focuses on the future; finding more resource, and the projects and the techniques to safely and economically produce them.
DEVEX European Production and Development Conference is designed for geologists, geophysicists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers, production technologists, well engineers and drilling engineers.
2015 is the 50th year since the first discoveries in the North Sea and so is an ideal opportunity to reflect on some of the many success stories within the basin and look to the future. DEVEX has built a reputation for high quality presentations showcasing the oil and gas industry in the North Sea and beyond. As before, the 2015 event will focus on all aspects of development, production and the technologies and solutions which underpin the present and, crucially, the future. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to gain knowledge which may be of use to your staff and company in the future.
DEVEX is a two day conference and exhibition which takes place annually in Aberdeen and is jointly convened by Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society, the PESGB and SPE Aberdeen with support from DECC. The conference takes place at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre and features two parallel sessions showcasing approximately 30 – 40 oral presentations with the addition this year of several invited technical key-note papers on some of the exciting projects from the North Sea and further afield. Another development for 2015 is the running of a series of educational Masterclasses in a pop-up lecture theatre which will be located in the main exhibition hall. Now in its twelve year, DEVEX is a fixture in the Aberdeen calendar, attracting around 400 delegates and approximately 35 exhibitors.
