Our client based in Aberdeen's Westend is seeking a Temporary Web/Digital Content Assistant for a 10 week (approx) contract to assist with updating website content.
This is an ideal role for a recent graduate with website development/marketing background to gain extra experience in a forward thinking environment.
Expected start date is immediate and the job is expected to last through until the end of April / early May 2018.
The main function of the role is to assist with the development of the new website.
You will be expected to assist with a range of tasks including copywriting, data entry, user testing and image resizing.
You will help coordinate the collation of information and content for the website. Working with stakeholders across the organisation this will require you to have excellent communication skills. You will be required to implement content on the organisation's content management system (CMS), meaning you will need to have a degree of technical ability and understanding.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working on a major web project in a busy marketing department. Experience and qualifications in a creative and/or technical capacity are desirable.
Copywriting for the organisations services including course information and details and business services
Collating information to for the website. MS Office experience essential
Help coordinating tasks with stakeholders across the university using email, face-to-face, meetings and over the phone communication
Uploading and editing content on the CMS including wording, imagery, links and videos
Working with design teams to collate and resize appropriate images
Assisting with producing new video content
Testing the website for bugs and broken links to minimise impact on user journey and search engine rankings
