Global Shared Services - Procurement Assistant

The Procurement Assistant is part of the regional REM/PROC Team and is the responsible person for country and regional agreements as well as contracts with service providers and suppliers for the defined products groups or services. The Procurement assistant is the interface between our internal customers, business partners, and the Regional GSS REM PROC (Real Estate & Procurement) Manager.

Main Responsibilities


  • Suppliers' negotiation
  • Contracts management (terms & conditions, HSE)
  • Vendor management
  • Supplier Code of Conduct & compliance
  • iProcure/LCM system
  • Preparation of savings tracking reports
  • Category Management

    • Travel/hotel/Car/Airline
    • Mobiles
    • Office Supplies
    • Pantry Supplies

  • Direct Procurement Support to BAs (if needed)
  • Other adm. work assigned by line manager

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in relevant area
  • At least 3 years' experience in a procurement environment
  • Experience in the purchase of a variety of goods and services is desirable
  • Understanding and experience of the tender process
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Supplier sourcing, appraisal and selection
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Microsoft Office/ Word/Excel skills
  • Project Management Skills
