Senior Office Manager

The Company:
Are you looking to join an expert in the field of chemical procurement and transportation? Are you a Senior Office Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity? If the answer is yes, Fircroft have an opportunity for a Senior Office Manager to join our client's team based in Aberdeen.

The Role:
This position is for a Senior Office Manager based in Aberdeen initially reporting to the General Manager and later to the newly appointed Commercial Director. This role involves taking on the key responsibility of managing all day to day office operations including basic finance tasks, delivery, transport, interacting heavily with our customers and providing service on their lease agreements.

The candidate for this role will be working with multiple stakeholders such as our depot network, internal department and external customers, therefore they should be able to build relationships effectively.

*Responsible for maintaining sales ledger, producing month-end billing, client statements, imprest, etc.
*Liaising with accountant on VAT issues/returns, payroll, and sales invoices;
*Completing all payments to HRMC and external pension company;
*Maintaining and updating external website;
*Managing compliance and certifications for the company;
*Creating, updating and distributing various reports (utilization, etc.) via excel;
*Interfacing heavily with customers on inquiries related to their lease, future needs and repair costs; and
*Handling and arranging transport, pick-up/drop-off, positioning and logistics for our assets (tank containers).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
*Several years' experience working in an intermodal, transport or logistics environment;
*Willingness and ability to absorb and learn about tank containers;
*Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines;
*Ability to deal with a fast paced and ambiguous environment;
*Highly organized with strong follow-through and an acute attention to detail;
*Effective communicator both verbally and written;
*Proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook; and
*Ability to build relationships internally/externally, a strong collaborator and team player.
