Senior Product Certification Engineer

Manufacturing Experience desirable. Preferably worked as Inspection Engineer/ Manager with a Certification Body of International Repute.

Good communication skills, Local language competencies essential.

Sound Marketing Intelligence in the Inspection and CE Product Certification domain.

PED/ CPR/ ISO 3834 related experience desirable.

Qualified Level II for various NDE techniques.

Experience on Component & Equipment Inspection as per ASME Codes; IS Standards, IBR regulations, PESO requirements, EN standards, others.

Shall be familiar with Manufacturing processes including Heavy fabrication, casting, forging, Heat treatment, welding, painting, marking, packaging, etc.

Should have executed small to large third party Inspections of Infrastructure, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation, Civil, projects stretched over periods/ months, successfully.

Should have lead Project kick-off meets, project document reviews, ITP/ QA Plan approvals, Construction procedure approvals, document MOMs, others as appropriate.

Should Lead and deliver time bound assignments within budgeted efforts.

Should be well networked to mobilize expert Team/s of trained/ competent Inspectors on contractual assignments/ specific project needs on short notice.

Position Qualifications

Education: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering/ Science.

Estimation & Contract Management competencies required for the said services.

Shall have experience to identify risks and alerting timely to Seniors at DNV GL other stakeholders including clients for mitigation actions, if any

Project Management skills with experience of interacting efficiently with multiple agencies/ stakeholders required.

Shall be responsible for Business Targets and Managing a Team of Inspectors/ Surveyors.

Will be Safety conscious and enforce safe work practices.

Responsibilities will include, achieving Sales/ Revenue Targets; prevent Customer Churns/ exits; proactive selling of all services across all domains of Business assurance & DNV GL entities. Shall manage Accounts Receivables for timely recoveries and ensure timely Invoicing.
