Dresser-Rand has been awarded the 2015 Gulf Coast Oil & Gas New Technology Development of the Year Award for its LNGo natural gas conversion system.
The LNGo system utilizes Dresser Rand’s MOS reciprocating compressor, Guascor gas engine and Enginuity control system in a portable, small-footprint package.
The system allows for small stand-alone plants that are portable in response to changing requirements. Sized to produce approximately 6000–8000 gal/d of LNG, the LNGo system can be used in upstream, midstream and downstream applications.
“We are thrilled to be honored as the recipient of the 2015 Oil & Gas Award for New Technology Development of the Year,” said Charles Ely, general manager of distributed LNG solutions at Dresser-Rand. “It shows our commitment to providing our clients with innovative solutions that will help make a difference in their operations and meet their individual requirements.”
The Oil & Gas Awards committee recognizes the positive contributions made by upstream and midstream sector companies of the oil and gas industry that demonstrate advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility and health and safety.
