Ezra Holdings announced that the group’s non-executive chairman, Koh Poh Tiong, will step down with effect from 1 February 2016. He will also relinquish his role as senior advisor to the group.
Tiong has joined Ezra’s board as non-executive vice chairman and senior advisor in 2011 and has helmed the group since the beginning of 2013.
Succeeding him is group founder Lee Kian Soo, who will assume the position of non-executive chairman.
Soo has been in the shipping and offshore support services industry for more than 40 years, and in 1992, he founded Ezra. He is currently the chairman of the boards of EMAS Offshore and Triyards Holdings, both subsidiaries of Ezra.
