Tight oil resources are largely found in a trend ranging from Alberta to Texas. North America is now the fastest growing oil-producing region outside of OPEC, and it is expected to continue growing due to two main factors 1) increased output from Canada's oil sands; and 2) production from North American tight oil formations.

Chemical risk assessment is an evolving element within the Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Social Responsibility (HSSE SR) segment of our industry.
This workshop will address modern flow assurance management systems and best practices being applied by international and national operating companies. It will discuss the latest innovative technologies used to resolve flow assurance challenges being faced, in addition to the latest advances in research and development through academic and industrial laboratories.
Canadian heavy oil has been successfully produced for more than 70 years. This has been possible because of continuous innovation by people and technology rising to the challenges that we faced. But, are we looking far enough ahead to stay successful? What proactive discussions should be started now looking towards the challenges that we will face by the year 2020?
